We are seeking a **Western-trained Consultant in Critical Care / Intensive Care Medicine** to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide specialist and consultant-level care to critically ill patients and contribute to multidisciplinary intensive care services.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide consultant-level assessment and management of critically ill patients.
-   Manage patients requiring intensive monitoring, organ support and advanced critical care.
-   Lead and participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions and treatment planning.
-   Perform and supervise critical care procedures within the physician's scope of practice.
-   Respond to acute deterioration and medical emergencies.
-   Collaborate closely with anaesthesia, emergency medicine, surgery and other specialist teams.
-   Supervise and support junior doctors and clinical staff.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
-   Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance and patient-safety initiatives.
-   Contribute to teaching, training and professional development activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   Western-trained **Consultant in Critical Care / Intensive Care Medicine**.
-   Recognised specialist/consultant qualification from an approved Western jurisdiction.
-   Strong post-qualification clinical experience in critical care.
-   Experience managing complex adult critically ill patients.
-   Current professional registration/licence in the country of practice.
-   Eligibility for **DHA licensing in Dubai**, subject to DHA assessment and approval.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.

## Benefits

-   The **maximum package is AED 45,000 per month**, inclusive of **housing and travel allowance**.
