We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Sharjah, UAE**.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in **orthopedic surgery, trauma management, joint replacement, and musculoskeletal disorders**. ### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage **musculoskeletal disorders, fractures, joint diseases, and orthopedic injuries**.
-   Perform **orthopedic surgical procedures**, including fracture fixation, joint reconstruction, and arthroscopic surgery, within authorized clinical privileges.
-   Evaluate and manage **sports injuries, ligament tears, tendon injuries, and degenerative joint conditions**.
-   Perform **hip and knee replacement surgeries**, where appropriately trained and credentialed.
-   Manage orthopedic trauma cases, including complex fractures and emergency injuries.
-   Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
-   Interpret diagnostic investigations, including **X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and musculoskeletal imaging**.
-   Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage surgical complications.
-   Collaborate with **physiotherapists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals**.
-   Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and orthopedic team members.
-   Ensure compliance with **MOHAP regulations, surgical safety protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.

-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Orthopedic Surgery**.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualification.
-   **American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications** are highly desirable.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of relevant post-specialization experience** preferred.
-   Strong expertise in **orthopedic surgery, trauma management, joint replacement, and minimally invasive orthopedic procedures**.
-   Eligible for the appropriate **MOHAP Consultant Orthopedic Surgery classification/license** in Sharjah, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements and facility jurisdiction.
