**Job Description** – Specialist Gastroenterologist

**Location:** Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified **Specialist Gastroenterologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.

### Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
-   Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, examinations, and treatment planning.
-   Perform and interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations.
-   Perform gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures within the candidate's scope of practice and credentialing.
-   Manage both acute and chronic gastroenterological conditions.
-   Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
-   Work collaboratively with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
-   Provide appropriate patient education and follow-up care.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical discussions.
-   Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and facility policies.
-   Contribute to quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.

## Requirements

-   **MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree** from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized **Specialization in Gastroenterology**.
-   Valid medical registration/license in the country of practice.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a Gastroenterologist.
-   Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
-   Endoscopy experience is highly desirable.
-   Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
-   Eligibility for **DHA Specialist Gastroenterology** registration/licensure is required or must be obtainable.
