**Job Description** – Specialist Anesthesiologist

**Location:** Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a qualified and experienced **Specialist Anesthesiologist** to join a reputable healthcare facility in Al Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and comprehensive anesthesia care across a range of surgical and medical procedures.

### Responsibilities

-   Assess patients preoperatively and develop appropriate anesthesia plans.
-   Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia as clinically appropriate.
-   Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and manage intraoperative complications.
-   Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure safe recovery.
-   Manage airway emergencies and provide appropriate resuscitation when required.
-   Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and other medical professionals.
-   Provide anesthesia for elective and emergency procedures.
-   Evaluate and manage patients with complex medical conditions requiring anesthesia.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
-   Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement activities, and clinical audits where required.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Anesthesia/Anesthesiology**.
-   Valid eligibility for **Specialist Anesthesiologist** classification under UAE licensing requirements.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
-   Strong knowledge of modern anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring.
-   Ability to manage emergency and high-risk anesthesia cases.
-   Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-   DOH license or eligibility is preferred.
