A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Radiation Oncologist to join its oncology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and delivering advanced radiation therapy treatments for cancer patients, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence, patient safety, and multidisciplinary cancer care.

## Key Responsibilities

1.  Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring radiation oncology treatment.
    
2.  Develop individualized radiation therapy plans based on cancer type, stage, and patient condition.
    
3.  Supervise the delivery of advanced radiation therapy techniques, including IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS.
    
4.  Assess treatment effectiveness and modify radiation therapy plans when clinically indicated.
    
5.  Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, and medical physicists.
    
6.  Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings and cancer treatment planning.
    
7.  Manage radiation-related side effects and provide comprehensive supportive care.
    
8.  Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols, DHA regulations, and international oncology standards.
    
9.  Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, potential risks, and expected outcomes.
    
10.  Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in quality assurance and clinical audit activities.
     
11.  Contribute to oncology research, medical education, and continuous professional development.

## Requirements

## Qualifications & Requirements

-   MBBS/MBChB or equivalent recognized medical degree.
    
-   Recognized postgraduate specialization in Radiation Oncology.
    
-   Board certification, fellowship, or equivalent qualification in Radiation Oncology.
    
-   Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter, or eligibility to obtain one.
    
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience meeting UAE PQR requirements for the Consultant title.
    
-   Demonstrated expertise in modern radiation therapy techniques and oncology treatment planning.
    
-   Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
