We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant Intensivist** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Dubai, UAE**.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in **critical care medicine, advanced life support, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and the management of critically ill patients**. The role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality intensive care services.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage critically ill patients in the **Intensive Care Unit (ICU)**.
-   Provide comprehensive treatment for **sepsis, septic shock, respiratory failure, ARDS, and multiorgan dysfunction**.
-   Manage **invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation** and advanced respiratory support.
-   Perform **endotracheal intubation, central venous catheterization, arterial line placement, and other critical care procedures** within authorized clinical privileges.
-   Manage hemodynamically unstable patients requiring **vasopressors, advanced monitoring, and organ support**.
-   Lead **emergency resuscitation, advanced cardiac life support, and critical patient stabilization**.
-   Interpret **arterial blood gases, ECG, laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, and bedside ultrasound**.
-   Develop individualized ICU treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
-   Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharge planning within intensive care services.
-   Collaborate with **anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary ICU teams**.
-   Ensure compliance with **DHA regulations, ICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Medicine**, or an accepted primary specialty with advanced critical care training.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualification.
-   **American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications** are highly desirable.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of relevant post-specialization experience** preferred.
-   Strong expertise in **mechanical ventilation, advanced airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical patient stabilization**.
-   Valid **ACLS certification** or equivalent is preferred.
-   Eligible for the appropriate **DHA Consultant Intensive Care / Critical Care Medicine classification/license** in Dubai, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
