**We're Hiring |** Specialist Critical Care

📍 Location: Sharjah

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Specialist Critical Care** physician to join a leading healthcare facility in **Sharjah, UAE**.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in **intensive care management, mechanical ventilation, advanced life support, and the treatment of critically ill patients**. The role requires excellent clinical judgment, emergency management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage critically ill patients in the **Intensive Care Unit (ICU)**.
-   Provide comprehensive care for **sepsis, septic shock, respiratory failure, ARDS, and multiorgan dysfunction**.
-   Manage **invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation** and advanced respiratory support.
-   Perform **endotracheal intubation, central venous catheterization, arterial line placement, and other critical care procedures** within authorized clinical privileges.
-   Monitor and stabilize patients requiring **vasopressors, hemodynamic monitoring, and organ support**.
-   Participate in **emergency resuscitation, advanced cardiac life support, and critical patient stabilization**.
-   Interpret **arterial blood gases, ECG, laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, and bedside ultrasound**.
-   Develop and implement individualized ICU treatment plans.
-   Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharge planning within intensive care services.
-   Collaborate with **intensivists, anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary ICU teams**.
-   Ensure compliance with **applicable Sharjah healthcare regulations, ICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Medicine**, or an accepted primary specialty with advanced critical care training.
-   Recognized specialist-level qualification or board certification.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience in **Critical Care / Intensive Care Medicine**, as required by the applicable UAE PQR.
-   Strong expertise in **mechanical ventilation, advanced airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical patient stabilization**.
-   Valid **ACLS certification** or equivalent is preferred.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
-   Eligible for the appropriate **MOHAP or relevant Sharjah healthcare authority Specialist Critical Care license**, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
