A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking an experienced **Consultant Endocrinologist** with an **American Board or other recognized Tier 1 specialty qualification** in Endocrinology. The physician will provide consultant-level care for patients with complex endocrine and metabolic disorders. Current Dubai vacancies also seek American Board-certified Endocrinologists for senior roles.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders.
-   Provide expert care for **diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, metabolic, and hormonal disorders**.
-   Manage complex endocrine cases and develop individualized treatment plans.
-   Perform comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments.
-   Interpret laboratory, hormonal, imaging, and diagnostic investigations.
-   Monitor treatment outcomes and provide appropriate follow-up care.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other medical specialists.
-   Provide patient education regarding disease management and lifestyle modification.
-   Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, CME, teaching, and research activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MD/MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   **American Board Certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism** or another recognized **Tier 1 specialty qualification**.
-   Relevant consultant-level post-specialization experience.
-   Valid medical registration/license in the country of current practice.
-   Eligibility for **DHA Consultant Endocrinologist** registration.
-   Strong clinical experience in managing complex endocrine conditions.
-   Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills.

Under the UAE PQR, recognized Tier 1 specialty certificates from countries including the **USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and several other listed countries** qualify for consultant examination exemption when the applicable criteria are met.
