We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant Psychiatrist** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Abu Dhabi, UAE**.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage **depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric conditions**.
-   Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, mental status examinations, and risk assessments.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating **pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy referrals, and multidisciplinary care**.
-   Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, ensuring treatment effectiveness and patient safety.
-   Assess and manage **acute psychiatric emergencies, suicidal ideation, and severe behavioral disturbances**.
-   Provide ongoing care for patients with **complex and chronic mental health disorders**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.

-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Psychiatry**.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualification.
-   **American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications** are highly desirable.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of relevant post-specialization experience** preferred.
-   Strong expertise in **adult psychiatry, psychopharmacology, psychiatric emergencies, and complex mental health management**.
-   Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
-   Eligible for **DOH Consultant Psychiatry classification/license** in Abu Dhabi, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
