### **We're Hiring | Consultant Cardiac Surgeon – Dubai, UAE**

📍 **Location:** Dubai

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant Cardiac Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide advanced cardiac surgical services, managing complex cardiac conditions and delivering high-quality surgical care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary cardiac team.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, surgical planning, and management of patients requiring cardiac surgery.
-   Perform advanced cardiac surgical procedures, including:

-   Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
-   Valve repair and valve replacement procedures
-   Aortic root and aortic surgery
-   Minimally invasive cardiac surgery (where applicable)
-   Management of complex adult cardiac conditions

-   Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
-   Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage surgical complications.
-   Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists, perfusionists, and multidisciplinary cardiac care teams.
-   Participate in cardiac MDT meetings and contribute to treatment decisions for complex cases.
-   Ensure adherence to surgical safety protocols, infection control standards, and clinical governance requirements.
-   Maintain accurate medical documentation, operative notes, and patient records.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, research, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
-   Supervise and mentor junior surgeons and surgical trainees where applicable.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications & Requirements**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Cardiac Surgery / Cardiothoracic Surgery** (Board Certification, Fellowship, or equivalent).
-   Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** at Consultant level.
-   Eligibility for or possession of a **Dubai Health Authority (DHA)** Consultant license.
-   Proven expertise in complex cardiac surgical procedures and perioperative cardiac care.
-   Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
-   Commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered surgical care.

### **Preferred Candidate Profile**

-   Experience working in internationally accredited cardiac centers or tertiary hospitals.
-   Expertise in advanced coronary surgery, valve surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, or aortic surgery is an advantage.
-   UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
-   Strong record of clinical excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration.
