We are looking for an experienced **Consultant Plastic Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in reconstructive and/or aesthetic plastic surgery, with excellent surgical skills and a patient-centered approach.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive consultations, assessments, and surgical planning for plastic and reconstructive surgery patients.
-   Perform a wide range of **reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures** within the scope of expertise.
-   Manage patients requiring reconstruction following trauma, cancer surgery, burns, congenital conditions, or other tissue defects.
-   Perform facial and body contouring procedures where appropriately trained.
-   Manage complex wounds, soft-tissue defects, and post-surgical complications.
-   Perform breast reconstruction and other reconstructive procedures as applicable to clinical expertise.
-   Evaluate patients for cosmetic procedures and provide appropriate counselling regarding risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
-   Provide pre-operative assessment, informed consent, and comprehensive post-operative follow-up.
-   Monitor surgical outcomes and manage post-operative complications.
-   Work closely with oncologists, breast surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, dermatologists, and other multidisciplinary specialists.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient-safety standards.
-   Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, teaching, research, and CME activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Plastic Surgery / Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery**.
-   Fellowship or advanced training in Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic, or Microsurgery is an advantage.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant qualification.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** in Plastic Surgery.
-   Strong experience in reconstructive and/or aesthetic plastic surgery.
-   Experience with complex reconstruction, microsurgery, trauma, burns, or breast reconstruction is highly desirable.
-   Eligible for **DHA Consultant classification/license** in Dubai.
-   Excellent surgical, communication, and patient-management skills.
