We are looking for an experienced **Consultant Emergency Medicine** physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing a wide range of acute and emergency medical conditions and be confident in providing high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide expert assessment and management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
-   Manage medical, surgical, trauma, and other acute emergency presentations.
-   Perform emergency procedures and resuscitation as required.
-   Lead the management of critically ill and unstable patients.
-   Coordinate with specialists, intensivists, surgeons, and other multidisciplinary teams.
-   Participate in trauma and medical emergency response.
-   Ensure timely diagnosis, stabilization, treatment, and appropriate disposition of patients.
-   Supervise and support junior physicians, residents, and emergency department staff.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and patient-safety standards.
-   Participate in departmental quality improvement, clinical governance, and audit activities.
-   Contribute to education, training, and continuing medical education programs.
-   Promote evidence-based emergency medicine practices and high standards of patient care.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Emergency Medicine**.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant qualification.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** in Emergency Medicine.
-   Strong experience in adult emergency care, acute medical emergencies, trauma, and resuscitation.
-   Current BLS, ACLS, and relevant emergency/trauma certifications preferred.
-   Experience managing critically ill patients and complex emergency presentations.
-   Eligible for **DOH Consultant classification/license** in Abu Dhabi.
-   Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
