We are seeking a highly skilled **Consultant in Fetal Medicine** to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the Al Dhafra Region. The successful candidate will provide specialized care for high-risk pregnancies, fetal diagnosis, prenatal screening, and management of fetal abnormalities while working within a multidisciplinary maternal-fetal medicine team to deliver exceptional patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive fetal medicine services, including prenatal screening, diagnosis, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
-   Perform advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations, fetal anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography (where qualified), Doppler studies, and first-trimester screening.
-   Diagnose and manage fetal congenital anomalies, genetic disorders, multiple pregnancies, fetal growth restriction, and other complex fetal conditions.
-   Perform invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), where credentialed.
-   Develop individualized management plans for mothers and fetuses in collaboration with obstetricians, neonatologists, pediatric subspecialists, geneticists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
-   Provide prenatal counseling to expectant parents regarding fetal conditions, prognosis, and available treatment options.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary fetal medicine meetings and case discussions.
-   Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and international clinical guidelines.
-   Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, teaching, and continuing medical education activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
-   Completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
-   Fellowship or subspecialty training in **Fetal Medicine** or Maternal-Fetal Medicine from a recognized institution.
-   Board Certification or equivalent recognized qualification in Fetal Medicine/Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
-   DOH License/Eligibility is preferred.
-   Internationally trained candidates meeting DOH licensing requirements are encouraged to apply.
