### **We're Hiring | Consultant Family Medicine – Qatar**

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced **Consultant Family Medicine** to join a leading healthcare provider in Qatar. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered primary healthcare services, focusing on disease prevention, health promotion, diagnosis, and long-term management of acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages.
-   Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical practices.
-   Perform routine health assessments, preventive screenings, and annual health check-ups.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists when required.
-   Promote preventive healthcare through patient education, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling.
-   Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and cardiovascular conditions.
-   Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of patient care.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, Continuing Medical Education (CME), and departmental meetings.
-   Mentor junior physicians and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications & Requirements**

-   MD, DNB, MRCGP, Arab Board, or equivalent qualification in Family Medicine.
-   Board Certification or equivalent recognized Consultant qualification in Family Medicine.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** at the Consultant level.
-   Eligibility for or ability to obtain **Qatar medical licensure**.
-   Strong expertise in primary care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and family-centered healthcare.
-   Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
-   Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered, evidence-based care.

### **Preferred Candidate Profile**

-   **PQR Tier 1 and Tier 2 qualified professionals** will be given preference.
-   Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals or primary healthcare centers is highly desirable.
