### 🩺 Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant Pediatric ENT (Otolaryngology)** to join a leading tertiary healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The consultant will collaborate closely with pediatricians, audiologists, speech-language pathologists, pediatric surgeons, pulmonologists, allergists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose, evaluate, and manage congenital and acquired pediatric ENT disorders.
-   Perform a wide range of pediatric ENT surgical procedures, including adenotonsillectomy, tympanostomy tube insertion, airway surgery, endoscopic procedures, and management of congenital head and neck anomalies.
-   Assess and manage pediatric hearing disorders, chronic ear infections, cholesteatoma, and balance disorders.
-   Diagnose and treat nasal and sinus disorders, allergic rhinitis, epistaxis, and congenital nasal abnormalities.
-   Evaluate and manage airway disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, laryngomalacia, vocal cord disorders, and pediatric airway emergencies.
-   Manage pediatric voice, swallowing, and feeding disorders in collaboration with speech-language therapists.
-   Evaluate and treat congenital and acquired neck masses, salivary gland disorders, and other pediatric head and neck conditions.
-   Perform endoscopic airway evaluations and other diagnostic procedures as clinically indicated.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary pediatric teams.
-   Provide preoperative assessment, postoperative care, and long-term follow-up.
-   Counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and preventive care.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary clinics, tumor boards (where applicable), quality improvement initiatives, and clinical governance activities.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and international standards.
-   Supervise junior physicians, residents, fellows, and allied healthcare professionals.
-   Participate in clinical research, teaching, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by the relevant UAE health authority.
-   Completion of an accredited residency in Otolaryngology (ENT – Head and Neck Surgery).
-   Fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Otolaryngology (Pediatric ENT).
-   Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification recognized under the UAE Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR).
-   Eligibility for or possession of a DHA, DOH, or MOHAP Consultant License.

### Experience

-   Minimum **3–5 years** of post-board/fellowship experience as a Consultant Pediatric ENT (Otolaryngologist) or as required by UAE licensing regulations.
-   Extensive experience in pediatric ENT surgery and management of complex pediatric airway, ear, nose, throat, and head and neck disorders.
-   Experience working in internationally accredited tertiary children's hospitals is highly desirable.
-   Demonstrated expertise in multidisciplinary pediatric patient care.

### Skills & Competencies

-   Active involvement in clinical research, publications, and medical education.
