We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Specialist Pulmonologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Dubai, UAE**.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in **respiratory medicine, pulmonary diagnostics, chronic lung disease management, and the treatment of complex respiratory conditions**. ### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage **asthma, COPD, pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases, and other respiratory conditions**.
-   Evaluate and treat patients with **chronic cough, breathlessness, pulmonary infections, and respiratory disorders**.
-   Perform and interpret **pulmonary function tests (PFTs), spirometry, and other respiratory assessments**.
-   Diagnose and manage **sleep-related breathing disorders**, including obstructive sleep apnea.
-   Perform **bronchoscopy and other pulmonary procedures**, where appropriately trained and credentialed.
-   Interpret diagnostic investigations, including **chest X-rays, CT scans, arterial blood gases, and pulmonary imaging**.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
-   Manage patients requiring **oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilation, and respiratory support** within authorized clinical privileges.
-   Collaborate with **intensivists, cardiologists, thoracic surgeons, radiologists, and respiratory therapists**.
-   Educate patients regarding **smoking cessation, inhaler techniques, pulmonary rehabilitation, and respiratory disease prevention**.
-   Ensure compliance with **DHA regulations, respiratory care protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Internal Medicine**, followed by appropriate specialization or subspecialty training in **Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine**.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist-level qualification.
-   **American Board, UK, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications** are highly desirable.
-   Minimum **3–5 years of relevant post-specialization experience** preferred, subject to applicable licensing requirements.
-   Strong expertise in **pulmonary diagnostics, respiratory disease management, PFT interpretation, and respiratory support**.
-   Experience in **bronchoscopy, sleep medicine, or interventional pulmonology** is an added advantage.
-   Eligible for **DHA Specialist Pulmonology classification/license** in Dubai, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
