We are looking for an experienced **Specialist Hematologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the diagnosis and management of hematological disorders, with a patient-centered approach to comprehensive clinical care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and management of hematological disorders.
-   Evaluate and manage **anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, leukocytosis, and coagulation disorders**.
-   Diagnose and manage hematological malignancies, including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
-   Evaluate patients with abnormal blood counts, unexplained bleeding, bruising, and clotting disorders.
-   Manage iron-deficiency, vitamin-deficiency, hemolytic, and other forms of anemia.
-   Diagnose and manage bleeding and thrombotic disorders, including appropriate anticoagulation therapy.
-   Interpret hematological investigations, peripheral blood films, bone marrow studies, flow cytometry, and relevant laboratory results.
-   Perform or coordinate **bone marrow aspiration and biopsy** where appropriately trained.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, laboratory findings, imaging, and pathology results.
-   Monitor treatment response, disease progression, medication safety, and potential complications.
-   Coordinate care for patients requiring chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, or other hematological treatments within the scope of practice.
-   Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, transfusion medicine specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
-   Provide appropriate pre-treatment assessment, follow-up, and long-term monitoring.
-   Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and supportive care.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with clinical governance and patient-safety standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and CME activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Hematology** or Internal Medicine with specialization in Hematology.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist qualification.
-   Minimum **5 years of post-specialization experience** in Hematology.
-   Strong clinical experience in benign and malignant hematological conditions.
-   Experience in managing complex hematological disorders and hematological malignancies.
-   Experience with bone marrow procedures is highly desirable.
-   Eligible for **DHA Specialist classification/license** in Dubai.
-   Excellent clinical, communication, and patient-management skills.
