We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Dubai, UAE**.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in **orthopedic surgery, trauma management, fracture treatment, joint disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions**. ### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage **musculoskeletal disorders, fractures, joint diseases, and orthopedic injuries**.
-   Perform **orthopedic surgical procedures**, including fracture fixation, joint reconstruction, and arthroscopic procedures, within authorized clinical privileges.
-   Evaluate and manage **sports injuries, ligament tears, tendon injuries, and degenerative joint conditions**.
-   Provide surgical and non-surgical treatment for **fractures, dislocations, and musculoskeletal trauma**.
-   Perform **arthroscopic procedures and joint replacement surgeries**, where appropriately trained and credentialed.
-   Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
-   Interpret diagnostic investigations, including **X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and musculoskeletal imaging**.
-   Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage surgical complications.
-   Collaborate with **physiotherapists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals**.
-   Educate patients regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
-   Ensure compliance with **DHA regulations, surgical safety protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Orthopedic Surgery**.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist-level qualification.
-   **American Board, UK, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications** are highly desirable.
-   Minimum **3–5 years of relevant post-specialization experience** preferred, subject to applicable licensing requirements.
-   Strong expertise in **orthopedic trauma, fracture management, joint disorders, and surgical procedures**.
-   Excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities.
-   Eligible for **DHA Specialist Orthopedic Surgery classification/license** in Dubai, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
