We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified **Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Abu Dhabi and Sharjah**. The successful candidate will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other electrical disorders of the heart. The role involves performing advanced electrophysiology procedures, catheter ablations, and cardiac device implantations while delivering exceptional patient care in accordance with international clinical standards.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Diagnose and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular tachycardia, and conduction disorders.
-   Perform comprehensive electrophysiology (EP) studies and interpret findings.
-   Conduct complex catheter ablation procedures using advanced mapping and navigation systems.
-   Implant and manage cardiac rhythm devices, including pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs), Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) devices, and loop recorders.
-   Evaluate patients for device therapy and provide ongoing follow-up and device programming.
-   Interpret ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, ambulatory rhythm monitoring, stress testing, and other cardiac diagnostic investigations.
-   Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, heart failure specialists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
-   Provide inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and on-call electrophysiology services as required.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical guidelines.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
-   Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, departmental meetings, research, and continuing medical education.
-   Mentor junior physicians, fellows, and medical staff while contributing to teaching and academic activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   MD/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine.
-   DM/Fellowship/CCT/Board Certification in Cardiology with subspecialty training in **Cardiac Electrophysiology**.
-   American Board, Canadian Board, CCT, FRCP, European Board, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized Consultant qualification.
-   Eligibility for or possession of a valid **DOH (Abu Dhabi)** or **DHA** Consultant license.
