We are looking for an experienced **Specialist Vascular Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of vascular and arterial diseases, with a commitment to patient safety and high-quality clinical care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and surgical management of vascular conditions.
-   Evaluate and manage **arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders**.
-   Diagnose and treat peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aneurysms, and vascular occlusive conditions.
-   Manage patients with **deep vein thrombosis, chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, and venous ulcers**.
-   Perform appropriate open and minimally invasive vascular procedures within the scope of clinical expertise.
-   Manage vascular emergencies, including acute limb ischemia, vascular trauma, and ruptured or symptomatic aneurysms.
-   Perform vascular access procedures and manage complications where appropriately trained.
-   Provide pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, informed consent, and post-operative care.
-   Utilize and interpret appropriate vascular imaging, including **Doppler ultrasound, CT angiography, and MR angiography**.
-   Perform or coordinate endovascular interventions where appropriately trained.
-   Monitor patients for post-operative complications and provide appropriate follow-up care.
-   Collaborate with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, diabetologists, nephrologists, wound-care specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
-   Provide patient education regarding vascular disease, risk-factor modification, lifestyle, medication, and follow-up.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient-safety standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and CME activities.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Vascular Surgery** or an equivalent recognized surgical specialty with vascular surgery training.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist qualification.
-   Minimum **5 years of post-specialization experience** in Vascular Surgery.
-   Strong experience in the management of arterial and venous vascular disorders.
-   Experience with open and/or endovascular vascular procedures is highly desirable.
-   Eligible for **DOH Specialist classification/license** in Abu Dhabi.
-   Excellent surgical, clinical, communication, and patient-management skills.
