We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant Radiation Oncologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Abu Dhabi, UAE**.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring **radiation therapy for various malignant conditions**.
-   Develop individualized radiotherapy treatment plans based on cancer type, stage, and patient condition.
-   Plan and supervise **external beam radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, and stereotactic radiotherapy**, within authorized clinical privileges.
-   Provide **SBRT, SRS, or brachytherapy** services where appropriately trained and credentialed.
-   Interpret diagnostic investigations, including **CT, MRI, PET-CT, and other oncological imaging**.
-   Monitor treatment response and manage **acute and long-term radiation-related complications**.
-   Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, treatment assessments, and follow-up evaluations.
-   Participate in **multidisciplinary tumor board meetings** and collaborate on comprehensive cancer treatment strategies.
-   Work closely with **medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists**.
-   Educate patients and families regarding radiotherapy procedures, expected outcomes, and potential side effects.
-   Ensure compliance with **DOH regulations, radiation protection requirements, quality assurance protocols, and patient safety standards**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Radiation Oncology / Clinical Oncology**, with appropriate radiation oncology training.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualification.
-   **American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications** are highly desirable.
-   Minimum **5–10 years of relevant post-specialization experience** preferred.
-   Strong expertise in **radiotherapy planning, advanced radiation treatment techniques, and multidisciplinary cancer management**.
-   Experience with **linear accelerators, treatment planning systems, and modern radiotherapy technologies**.
-   Eligible for **DOH Consultant Radiation Oncology classification/license** in Abu Dhabi, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
