We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Specialist Hematologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in **Abu Dhabi, UAE**.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in **hematological disorders, blood diseases, hematological malignancies, and comprehensive patient management**. ### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage **anemia, thrombocytopenia, coagulation disorders, and other hematological conditions**.
-   Evaluate and treat **leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other hematological malignancies**.
-   Manage patients with **iron deficiency anemia, hemolytic anemia, sickle cell disease, and thalassemia**.
-   Diagnose and treat **bleeding disorders, thrombosis, and abnormal blood cell counts**.
-   Perform **bone marrow aspiration and biopsy** within authorized clinical privileges.
-   Interpret diagnostic investigations, including **complete blood counts, peripheral blood smears, coagulation profiles, flow cytometry, and bone marrow studies**.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans using **medications, blood component therapy, and other evidence-based hematological treatments**.
-   Monitor treatment responses and manage complications associated with hematological disorders and therapies.
-   Participate in **multidisciplinary case discussions** and coordinate care for patients with complex hematological conditions.
-   Collaborate with **oncologists, pathologists, transfusion medicine specialists, internists, and other healthcare professionals**.
-   Ensure compliance with **DOH regulations, hematology treatment protocols, blood transfusion safety, and patient safety standards**.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Internal Medicine**, followed by appropriate specialization or subspecialty training in **Hematology**.
-   Board certification or equivalent recognized specialist-level qualification.
-   **American Board, UK, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications** are highly desirable.
-   Minimum **3–5 years of relevant post-specialization experience** preferred, subject to applicable licensing requirements.
-   Strong expertise in **benign and malignant hematological disorders, diagnostic hematology, and clinical patient management**.
-   Experience in **hematological malignancy management, bone marrow procedures, or transfusion medicine** is an added advantage.
-   Eligible for the appropriate **DOH Specialist Hematology classification/license** in Abu Dhabi, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements and clinical privileges.
