# Lead QA Engineer

Atlantbh is growing and we are looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer to join our team. ## Requirements

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**  

-   At least 8 years of experience in software quality assurance
-   Proven experience designing and building complex test automation architectures/frameworks from the ground up
-   Proven experience leading QA engineers on projects - technical direction, code review, mentoring and quality ownership across a team
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including with non-technical stakeholders
-   Strong time management and prioritization skills across multiple projects/teams
-   Strong problem solving and debugging skills
-   Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages (Java, Javascript, Python...) and its corresponding test framework
-   Strong knowledge of HTTP protocol and experience with API automation across RESTful, GraphQL, and Protobuf-based (gRPC) services
-   Proven experience with at least one UI automation framework (Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium), including framework design decisions (structure, patterns, maintainability trade-offs)
-   Proven experience designing and building AI agentic approaches/workflows that speed up everyday work for a QA team, not just using them individually
-   Practical experience using AI coding assistants/agents (Claude Code, Codex...etc.) in everyday work
-   Confident using Git, Linux, bash scripting, Docker and Kubernetes
-   Experience with cloud environments/services like AWS or Azure
-   Knowledge and experience using CI/CD processes and tools (for example: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI...etc.)

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

-   Own test automation architecture and strategy across one or more projects
-   Lead and mentor QA engineers - technically guide their work, review their output, and actively make them better engineers
-   Design AI agents and agentic workflows that speed up QA processes for the whole team, and manage/evolve existing ones
-   Set and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes across teams
-   Design automation projects from scratch or lead the evolution of existing ones
-   Write functional test scripts (for web applications, APIs, CLIs...etc.) and review those written by others
-   Create and maintain CI workflows
-   Actively participate in QA research efforts company-wide - evaluate, adopt, and develop new tools/procedures that facilitate testing
-   Challenge/question the work that developers do, and coach QA engineers to do the same effectively
-   Partner with Product Owners on requirements, definition, and planning at a strategic level
-   Lead client communication - gathering project requirements and providing concise, credible feedback about quality
-   Contribute to growth of the QA team
