## Description

Atria is powering a movement to improve quality of life today and prolong healthy life in the future by taking the latest science and translating it into medicine in real time.

Composed of the Atria Institute, a clinical practice delivering rigorous and personalized preventive care; the Health Collaborative, a nonprofit that invests in proven interventions and disseminates critical health information at no cost; and our Academy of Science & Medicine, which brings together experts from institutions around the world to freely share best-in-class knowledge with doctors and the public.

Atria is on a mission to create a new paradigm in medicine, shifting from reactive sick care to proactive and preventive health care. We believe we can learn what works, share that information without limits, and empower countless people locally, nationally, and globally to live longer, healthier lives.

At the Atria Institute, we are seeking an experienced _**Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Women’s Health**_ to partner in building a new world-class primary care institute in NYC. In addition to providing care within a small, well supported private practice, you will enjoy a workplace with an energetic and modern environment with outstanding colleagues and you’ll have the ability to participate in social impact and educational activities to share health innovations with a broader community. Salary depends on experience: $135,000 - $190,000/year.

We are seeking great talented people to join our team. If you are exceptional at what you do and would love the opportunity to make a massive positive impact with a well-capitalized start-up that aims to change the world, we would love to explore this opportunity with you.

Specifically, you will:

- Partner with Women’s Health to provide comprehensive care in the institute and in the home
- Work collaboratively for preventive visits and independently with supervision for urgent visits
- In conjunction with our Women’s Health Physician available by phone, you will at times take “call” from home on weekends, holidays and after hours for in-person care as required, though given our small practice side, this is not anticipated to be very busy
- Provide occasional cross-coverage of adult medicine patients, for example doing routine vaccination, peripheral IVs or phlebotomy during a visit

As with all Atria team members, in addition to clinical care within the Atria Institute, you will spend 20% of work time assisting with philanthropic initiatives developed by the Atria Collaborative.

## Requirements

You are a compassionate Women’s Health NP/PA who enjoys close relationships with families and demonstrates exceptional communication skills in person, by phone and electronic messages. You are a team player who will thrive in a collaborative environment including administrative support, pharmacy, nutrition, coaching and other providers. You have fluency with primary care guidelines and a love of learning.

Job Requirements:

- Current NYS License required as NP for Women’s health, or current NYS Licensed PA
- 2+ years’ experience as NP/PA in Women’s Health
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Capable and experienced with relevant procedures including but not limited to vaccination, phlebotomy, catheterization, intravenous line placement, medication administration by IV, IM, assisting with colposcopies and endometrial biopsies

_Atria requires all employees conducting in person work at its NYC offices to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit proof of vaccination before their start date. If you are unable to be vaccinated for medical or protected religious reasons, you can seek a reasonable accommodation._

_Atria is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, marital status, age, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or any other status protected under federal, state, or local law. Atria believes that diversity and inclusion among our team is critical to our success, and we seek to recruit, encourage, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool._
