Specifically, you will:

-   Conduct imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures
-   Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
-   Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand
-   Except as authorized by clinical management, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional

  
**Compensation:**

-   $70-82/hr

## Requirements

-   Certification: Active ARDMS certification (required for ACR accreditation). RVT and Breast registries are strongly preferred, or must be willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
-   Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
-   Experience: 5+ years of clinical experience; prior experience in a "Charge" or "Lead" capacity is strongly preferred.
-   Maintenance: Must meet all continuing education requirements to maintain active certification and status.
-   Clinical Authority: Acts as a professional role model and technical expert for staff sonographers.
-   Organizational Skills: High proficiency in planning schedules and managing local department resources.
-   Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for reporting to the Clinical Site Director and coordinating with the Senior Technologist.
-   Problem-Solving: Ability to make sound judgments during high-stress situations or emergency department surges.
-   Teamwork: A collaborative spirit focused on maintaining hospital behavioral standards and a positive work environment.

**Schedule**

-   Potential for weekend availability as we scale west coast region
