## Description

## Key Responsibilities

-   Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, pipes, and plumbing fixtures.
-   Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, leaks, blockages, and faulty fittings.
-   Install and repair sinks, toilets, showers, taps, water heaters, and related equipment.
-   Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
-   Read and interpret plumbing drawings, technical specifications, and installation plans.
-   Test plumbing systems to identify leaks and ensure proper operation.
-   Perform pipe cutting, threading, bending, joining, and fitting as required.
-   Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
-   Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
-   Prepare reports on completed work, maintenance activities, and materials used.
-   Coordinate with other technicians and construction personnel when required.

## Requirements

-   Relevant vocational training or qualification in plumbing or a related field.
-   Previous experience working as a plumber in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
-   Knowledge of water supply, drainage, and plumbing systems.
-   Ability to use plumbing tools, testing equipment, and materials safely.
-   Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-   Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-   Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-   Good communication skills and attention to detail.
