### Responsibilities

-   Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming in readiness for painting or finishing.
-   Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment as appropriate.
-   Ensure that all painted surfaces meet quality standards in terms of coverage, color, and finish.
-   Conduct inspections and touch-ups to maintain the integrity and appearance of painted surfaces.
-   Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
-   Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations.
-   Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications.
-   Document work progress and materials used for reporting and inventory control.

## Requirements

-   Proven experience as a Refurbishment Painter or similar role in painting and decorating.
-   Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and paint application methods.
-   Familiarity with different types of paints, coatings, and finishes.
-   Ability to work with precision and attention to detail to achieve high-quality results.
-   Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
-   Physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual painting tasks.
-   Awareness of safety standards and willingness to comply with all regulations.
-   Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
