## Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
-   Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other construction materials.
-   Construct and install frameworks, doors, window frames, partitions, ceilings, and other structures.
-   Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry work.
-   Install timber structures, fixtures, fittings, and finishes.
-   Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery safely and effectively.
-   Repair, modify, and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures.
-   Ensure all work is accurately measured, levelled, aligned, and finished to a high standard.
-   Work closely with other trades and site supervisors to meet project requirements.
-   Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organised.
-   Follow site health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

## Requirements

-   Proven experience as a **Carpenter** in construction or a related environment.
-   Good knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
-   Ability to read and understand construction drawings and measurements.
-   Experience with both rough and finish carpentry is an advantage.
-   Skilled in using hand and power tools.
-   Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
-   Physically fit and able to handle materials and work at heights where required.
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-   Relevant carpentry qualification, apprenticeship, or trade certification is an advantage.
-   Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
