## Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
-   Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials accurately.
-   Manufacture and install doors, window frames, staircases, skirting, architraves, cabinets, and other bespoke joinery.
-   Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry and joinery work.
-   Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively.
-   Fit and install timber components on construction sites and in workshops.
-   Ensure all joinery is accurately aligned, levelled, fitted, and finished to a high standard.
-   Repair, modify, and adjust existing timber structures and fittings.
-   Work closely with other trades and site supervisors to meet project requirements.
-   Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean and organised.
-   Follow all site and workshop health and safety procedures.

## Requirements

-   Proven experience as a **Carpenter/Joiner** or in a similar role.
-   Strong knowledge of carpentry and joinery techniques.
-   Experience with both **first-fix and second-fix carpentry**.
-   Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
-   Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
-   Good attention to detail and high-quality finishing skills.
-   Experience with bespoke or finish joinery is an advantage.
-   Relevant carpentry/joinery qualification, apprenticeship, or trade certification is preferred.
-   Physically fit and able to work on construction sites and at heights where required.
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-   Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
