## Description

Key Responsibilities

•Perform MIG welding on mild steel and structural steel components.

•Read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings.

•Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning and fitting components prior to welding.

•Produce high-quality welds that meet project specifications and quality standards.

•Carry out tack welding, fabrication and assembly of steel components.

•Inspect completed welds for quality and dimensional accuracy.

•Operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting equipment and associated fabrication tools safely.

•Work in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).

•Maintain welding equipment and ensure work areas are clean and organised.

•Follow all Health & Safety procedures, company policies and quality standards.

•Report defects, non-conformances or safety concerns promptly.

•Work effectively as part of a fabrication or site-based team.

## Requirements

Minimum 3 years' proven experience as a MIG Welder in construction, heavy engineering or steel fabrication.

Experience welding mild steel and structural steel.

Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical specifications.

Experience using fabrication equipment including grinders, cutting tools and associated workshop machinery.

Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds to specification.

Strong understanding of workplace Health & Safety practices.

Good spoken and written English.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to relocate to Ireland and work on various project locations.
