## Description

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing of industrial machinery and vehicles.
-   Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
-   Maintain and repair forklifts, side loaders and shunter trucks.
-   Carry out servicing and repairs on rigid trucks and trailers.
-   Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential mechanical issues.
-   Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
-   Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs and maintenance activities.
-   Ensure all machinery and vehicles are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
-   Carry out mechanical fitting and maintenance of industrial production equipment.
-   Support the maintenance of automated processing lines, profiling machines and steel-bending machinery.
-   Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
-   Follow company health and safety procedures and ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely.
-   Assist with general mechanical maintenance and improvement projects as required.

## Requirements

-   Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, heavy vehicle mechanics or a similar environment.
-   Proven experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
-   Experience working with forklifts, side loaders and/or shunter trucks.
-   Experience with rigid trucks and trailers.
-   Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
-   Good understanding of preventative maintenance and servicing procedures.
-   Experience with mechanical fitting and industrial machinery.
-   Ability to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns efficiently.
-   Ability to work independently and manage maintenance requirements with minimal supervision.
-   Strong communication and organisational skills.
-   Fluent English (written and spoken) is an essential requirement.
