## Description

AUTO24 buys, reconditions, and sells used cars in South Africa, with in-house workshop, service, maintenance, and parts operations. As part of a group operating across five African countries, the business combines vehicle retail with aftersales and operational support functions in a fast-moving automotive environment.

This role is an opportunity to take ownership of finance within a dealership setting where vehicle sales, workshop activity, and parts performance all need to be understood as connected commercial drivers. The Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting accurate reporting, strengthening controls, and providing insight that helps the business manage performance across the full used-car lifecycle.

### Responsibilities

-   Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow across dealership operations.
-   Manage accounting for vehicle sales, workshop services, and parts departments.
-   Ensure accurate profit centre and cost centre reporting across all entities.
-   Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls using Xero and related tools.
-   Provide financial analysis to support used car reconditioning and sales performance.

## Requirements

-   Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
-   Experience in automotive dealership accounting.
-   Experience managing finance across vehicle sales and aftersales workshop and parts entities, including a strong understanding of how they operate together as cost and profit centres.
-   Experience managing the full accounting function, including debtor management and financial reporting.
-   Experience supporting dealership performance through financial analysis and maintaining internal controls.
-   Hands-on experience with Xero and other accounting or digital tools used in finance operations.
-   Eligible to work in South Africa.
-   Based in Johannesburg.
-   Completed or part-qualified professional accounting designation is a plus.
