## Description

Our client, an international banking institution, operates a long-established SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence environment that supports reporting across multiple business domains. The platform currently manages more than 1,200 reports and operates on SAP BusinessObjects version 4.3, complemented by related tools such as Infoburst and 360Suite.

To ensure the continued stability, optimization, and evolution of this critical BI ecosystem, the bank is seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects BI Specialist / Consultant to provide maintenance, development, enhancement, and user support services.

### **Key Responsibilities**

### **Platform Maintenance & Administration**

-   Perform regular maintenance activities for the SAP BusinessObjects BI platform, including patching, upgrades, and system health monitoring
-   Ensure platform stability, reliability, and continuous operation across all supported business areas
-   Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related incidents and technical issues in a timely manner
-   Support and contribute to the migration from SAP BusinessObjects 4.3 to SAP BI 2025
-   Maintain and support associated tools including Infoburst and 360Suite

### **Report & Universe Development**

-   Develop, modify, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects reports based on business requirements
-   Design, update, and optimize universes to ensure data consistency, integrity, and reporting efficiency
-   Enhance existing reporting solutions to improve usability, performance, and maintainability
-   Ensure reporting standards and best practices are consistently applied

### **Business & User Support**

-   Provide functional and technical support to users with varying levels of SAP BusinessObjects expertise
-   Assist business users in creating, understanding, and troubleshooting reports
-   Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to analyse reporting needs and deliver tailored BI solutions
-   Act as a key point of contact for issue resolution and user guidance related to SAP BusinessObjects

### **Continuous Improvement**

-   Identify opportunities to optimize the SAP BusinessObjects environment and reporting processes
-   Propose and implement system enhancements based on business feedback and evolving organizational requirements
-   Support performance tuning initiatives for reports, universes, and the overall BI platform
-   Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing activities

### **Additional Responsibilities**

-   Provide occasional support during weekends or public holidays for system deployments, upgrades, testing activities, or critical production support
-   Participate in change management and release activities where required

## Requirements

### **Required Skills & Experience**

-   Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform, preferably version 4.x
-   Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Universe Design and report development
-   Knowledge of BI platform administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
-   Experience supporting large-scale enterprise reporting environments
-   Familiarity with Infoburst and 360Suite is highly desirable
-   Experience with SAP BusinessObjects migrations or upgrades, ideally towards BI 2025
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-   Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
-   Ability to work independently in an international banking environment

### **Preferred Qualifications**

-   Experience within the banking or financial services sector
-   Understanding of enterprise data warehousing and reporting concepts
-   Experience working in regulated and mission-critical environments
-   Familiarity with ITIL-based support processes is considered an advantage

### **Work Arrangement**

-   Hybrid / On-site model depending on project requirements
-   Occasional off-hours support may be required for planned maintenance or critical activities
