# Senior PowerShell Automation & Deployment Engineer > Avacone · Zürich, Switzerland · Full-time · Posted 2026-08-25 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** Switzerland ## Description ### Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior PowerShell Automation & Deployment Engineer to design, implement, and support automation, deployment, and system-management solutions across on-premises Microsoft infrastructure and Microsoft Azure environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in release management, application support, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and major technology rollouts within sensitive and regulated environments. This position requires strong PowerShell, Windows Server, SQL, CI/CD, and troubleshooting expertise, combined with effective stakeholder collaboration and a disciplined approach to security, compliance, and operational resilience. ### Key Responsibilities ### Automation and Deployment - Design, develop, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions for application deployment, infrastructure configuration, system administration, and operational support. - Plan, coordinate, and execute application deployments, software releases, mass data uploads, and data-mutation activities. - Verify rollout schedules, deployment outcomes, system readiness, and post-release stability. - Develop reusable, reliable, and secure automation components that improve deployment speed, consistency, and traceability. -
