### **About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced **Senior Microsoft System Engineer** to join a large-scale enterprise IT environment. You will play a key role in the administration, optimization, automation and continuous improvement of the Microsoft infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security and operational excellence.

This role requires strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset and the ability to operate within complex enterprise environments supporting more than 1,000 users.

### **Your Responsibilities**

-   Administer, maintain and continuously improve enterprise Microsoft server environments.
-   Install, configure and manage Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure (Windows Server 2016 and newer).
-   Perform server patching, lifecycle management and infrastructure updates.
-   Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, including users, groups, permissions and security policies.
-   Support and further develop enterprise identity and access management solutions.
-   Administer Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.
-   Manage and operate ADFS and/or Okta authentication services.
-   Implement and integrate Microsoft System Center solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
-   Develop, maintain and optimize PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
-   Analyse system, application and event logs to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
-   Participate in infrastructure projects, platform improvements and technology upgrades.
-   Document system changes, operational procedures and technical implementations.
-   Work according to ITIL best practices, including Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management.
-   Contribute to the strategic evolution and modernization of the enterprise infrastructure.

### **Required Qualifications**

### **Professional Experience**

-   Several years of hands-on experience as a Microsoft System Engineer within complex enterprise environments.
-   Proven experience supporting enterprise infrastructures with more than 1,000 users.
-   Senior or Expert level with demonstrated technical leadership and deep infrastructure expertise.

### **  
Technical Skills**

### **Microsoft Infrastructure**

-   Strong expertise with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or newer.
-   Excellent knowledge of enterprise server security best practices.
-   Extensive experience with server installation, configuration, patching and update management.
-   Advanced administration of Microsoft Active Directory.
-   Strong understanding of Microsoft’s Tiering Model (Tier 0, Tier 1 and Tier 2).
-   Experience with Microsoft Entra ID administration.
-   Experience administering ADFS and/or Okta environments.

### **  
Endpoint & Systems Management**

-   Extensive experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
-   Experience with Microsoft System Center solutions.
-   Experience with Ansible is considered a strong advantage.

### **  
Identity & Access Management**

-   Experience with enterprise Identity Management solutions.
-   Knowledge of Omada and Adaxes is highly desirable.

### **  
Automation**

-   Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
-   Experience developing automation solutions for operational efficiency.

### **  
Operations**

-   Experience analysing system logs, event logs and infrastructure troubleshooting.
-   Solid understanding of ITIL operational processes.
-   Experience documenting infrastructure changes and operational procedures.
-   Experience contributing to infrastructure improvements and modernization initiatives.

### **Qualifications**

-   Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work independently in large enterprise environments.
-   Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-   English language skills at B2/C1 level are considered an advantage.
