**Our Client**

Our client is a Singapore-based multinational food and beverage company specializing in the production and distribution of instant beverages, particularly coffee mixes and non-dairy creamers. With a strong presence across Asia, Eastern Europe, and other emerging markets, the company focuses on delivering affordable, mass-market products while continuously optimizing cost efficiency and product formulations. Its operations are supported by manufacturing facilities, including in Malaysia, and it actively competes with Chinese producers by exploring innovations in ingredients and production processes to maintain competitiveness in pricing and quality.  

### Key Responsibilities

1\. Purchasing & Sourcing

-   Develop purchasing plan based on production requirements
-   Source and evaluate new suppliers and alternative materials
-   Monitor market trends and raw material prices to support purchasing decisions

2\. Supplier & Cost Management

-   Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance
-   Identify cost-saving opportunities
-   Ensure supply continuity and mange potential supply risks
-   Develop alternative suppliers for key materials

3\. Monitor inventory levels and purchasing requirements

4\. Ensure compliance with procurement SOPs and documentation requirements

5\. Lead the procurement team to achieve departmental KPIs, cost-saving targets

and operational targets

6\. Work closely with Planner, Production, QA, R&D, Finance and other departments

7\. Prepare procurement reports and provide updates to Management

## Requirements

-   Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business or related discipline
-   Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment
-   At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role
-   Good understanding of raw materials purchasing, inventory management, and supply planning
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-   Detail-oriented with good record-keeping and documentation skills
-   Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills
-   Good command of written and spoken English
