Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality rugs, combining craftsmanship with contemporary design to serve clients globally. They cater to retailers, wholesalers, and custom project clients. They are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager to help expand their presence in Germany. 

**Job Summary** 

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B sales, market analysis, and client relationship management, preferably within the home furnishings or textiles industry. 

**Key Responsibilities** 

-   Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to increase sales and market share. 
-   Identify and approach new clients (retailers, distributors, furniture stores, market places etc.) in key markets. 
-   Lead negotiations and close contracts that align with company pricing and profitability goals. 
-   Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote the brand and develop partnerships. 
-   Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new customer segments, and competitor activity. 
-   Collaborate with the design and production teams to align offerings with market demand and client feedback. 
-   Manage the sales pipeline and CRM system to track leads, proposals, and follow-ups effectively. 
-   Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on business development performance and forecasts. 
-   Support digital marketing and e-commerce strategies for market expansion, where applicable. 

**Qualifications & Requirements** 

-   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 
-   Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably in rugs, textiles, or home décor industry. 
-   Strong network within the interiors, retail, and/or furniture industries is highly desirable. 
-   Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
-   Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required. 
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. 
-   Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. 
-   Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
