We are seeking a qualified Senior Electrician to fill a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate must be a team player and have technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring. The candidate must also have a great attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve potential problems.

**Duties and responsibilities:**

-   Install equipment as per the general arrangement drawings
-   Install conduit and cable as per electrical schematics
-   Wiring of various types of instrumentation and controls
-   Assemble and wire custom control panels
-   Ensure manufacturers installation instructions and all code requirements are adhered to.
-   Confirm wiring of components as they are completed.
-   Review bill of materials for accuracy and flag any errors immediately.
-   Redline drawings as required during assembly.
-   Review finished assemblies for accuracy.
-   Complete factory acceptance testing for equipment prior to shipping
-   Occasional Site work and associated travel
-   Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
-   Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.
-   Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
-   Other assigned duties as required.

**HSE / Quality Responsibilities and Duties**

-   Immediately report any accident / incident and collaborate in its investigation
-   Interrupt work when conditions are unsafe, create safe work environment when possible and report to upper management
-   Maintain orderly and clean work areas
-   Use and maintain in good condition the safety equipment, work tools and personal protective equipment for the group.

-   7:00am - 3:30pm

## Requirements

**Skills**

-   Electrical Assembly
-   Electrical Troubleshooting
-   Reading Schematic Drawings
-   Understanding User Manuals
-   Understanding of instrumentation/device wiring and motor controls
-   Knowledge of the applicable sections of the Canadian Electric Code Parts 1 and 2

**Qualifications**

-   Education:

-   High School diploma or equivalent
-   Accredited Trade school or equivalent

-   Experience:

-   +5 years of relevant experience
-   +2 years as an intermediate electrician or equivalent

-   Certifications:

-   Red Seal
