**About the role**

**On behalf of a collaborating audit firm** in Athens, we are seeking to recruit an **Experienced Auditor**. The firm is part of a well-established international association of independent accounting, tax, and advisory firms with a presence in more than 90 countries worldwide.

The organization combines international expertise with a strong local presence in Greece, providing high-quality audit, tax, and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. **Key duties & Responsibilities**

As an Experienced Auditor, you will play a key role in the execution and supervision of audit engagements while working closely with senior management and clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

-   Plan and execute audit engagements in accordance with applicable auditing standards and firm methodologies.
-   Review financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant reporting frameworks.
-   Supervise, mentor, and support junior auditors throughout the audit process, ensuring quality and timely completion of tasks.
-   Identify key audit risks and contribute to the development and implementation of effective audit strategies.
-   Maintain effective communication with clients, building strong professional relationships while delivering high-quality service.
-   Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality control procedures.
-   Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, processes, and best practices within the team.

## Requirements

**What you bring**

We are looking for a professional who has the following qualifications and skills:

**Qualifications**

-   **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience in external audit or in an accounting/audit firm.
-   **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
-   **Qualification:** Professional qualification (ACCA / ACA / SOEL or equivalent) in progress or completed will be considered an asset.
-   **Audit Expertise:** Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
-   **Technical Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); familiarity with audit tools is a plus.
-   **Language Proficiency:** Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
