> UHY Axon Group · Athens, Greece (Hybrid) · Full-time · Posted 2026-07-15

**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Legal Services

## Description

**UHY Axon Group** is a member firm of **UHY**, one of the leading global networks delivering audit, advisory and tax services. We serve a wide array of clients, providing expert guidance and innovative solutions to help our clients succeed in an ever-changing business environment.

**About the role**

This is a generalist legal role covering both the **internal legal needs of UHY Axon** and **direct support to clients** on corporate legal matters. You will work independently across a broad range of areas - from contract review and drafting to corporate governance, regulatory filings, and client-facing support for company establishment and structuring - collaborating closely with management, client-facing teams, and external advisors when needed.

The role is well suited to a lawyer with 2–3 years of experience in a corporate or in-house environment who is looking to take on broader ownership and grow within a structured professional services firm.

**Key duties & Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

**Corporate Governance & Compliance**

- Maintain and update the corporate records of the Group's legal entities (ΓΕ.ΜΗ. filings, board resolutions, shareholder decisions, statutory registers).
- Coordinate corporate actions such as changes to share capital, board composition, or articles of association.
- Monitor regulatory and legislative developments relevant to the Group's operations and flag compliance requirements proactively.

**Contracts & Commercial**

- Review and draft a range of commercial agreements including service contracts, NDAs, supplier agreements, and client engagement letters- for both internal Group needs and client engagements.
- Support clients in the establishment and structuring of legal entities, including the preparation of articles of association, shareholder agreements, and related corporate documentation.
- Support the execution of agreements, ensuring alignment with applicable legal requirements and internal standards.
- Maintain the Group's contract repository and monitor renewal and expiration deadlines.

**Regulatory Filings & Statutory Obligations**

- Manage filings and submissions to ΓΕ.ΜΗ., tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies as required, both for the Group and for clients.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Greek corporate law and regulatory obligations.
- Liaise with public authorities and notaries for the execution of corporate legal actions.

**General Legal Support**

- Act as the first point of contact for internal legal queries across the Group, including matters related to employment, operations, and cross-departmental legal questions.
- Assist in the management of any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings, coordinating with external counsel when required.
- Provide occasional legal support to clients on straightforward matters arising in the course of engagements, referring more complex or specialist issues to the appropriate internal or external resource.
- Support data protection compliance (GDPR) in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.

## Requirements

**What you bring**

- Law degree from a Greek university; a postgraduate qualification (LLM) is a plus.
- Member of a Greek Bar Association (Δικηγορικός Σύλλογος) or eligibility to register.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in a corporate legal, in-house, or law firm environment with real exposure to corporate and commercial law.
- Solid understanding of Greek corporate law, ΓΕ.ΜΗ. procedures, and commercial contract practice.
- Familiarity with Greek labor law and GDPR compliance is a strong asset.
- A practical mindset — you spot the risk and offer a workable solution, not just a memo.
- Strong drafting and communication in both Greek and English.
- Comfortable owning multiple matters at once, with the discretion the job requires.

## Benefits

**What we offer**

- **Competitive salary**, aligned with experience level, discussed openly at interview.

- **One day** a week from home.
- Ongoing **training and professional development**, with a clear path to grow your role as the firm grows.
- **International exposure:** collaboration across UHY's network in 100+ countries.
- **A team you'll actually enjoy:** regular social events, not just a desk and a deadline list.

- An environment where your work has **visible impact** - not lost in a large legal department.
