## Description

Azumo is currently looking for highly motivated **Java Senior Engineers** to develop and enhance high performing and scalable backend infrastructure used by millions of users.

The position is **fully remote based in Latin America**. We will only be considering candidates based in Latin America, as most of our engineers are based there.  

This position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with a growing team and bright engineering minds. You will enjoy the role if you love designing and developing scalable, high performant backend infrastructure using enterprise class frameworks.

  
Responsibilities:

-   Design, develop and test robust Java APIs
-   Evaluate multiple approaches and technologies to solving a problem
-   Understand data pipeline needs and work with product managers to find solutions

Compensation commensurate with experience and candidate potential.

## Requirements

-   4+ years experience with enterprise class frameworks (such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring or any other Java enterprise class frameworks)
-   Deep expertise in designing and building robust APIs
-   Practical experience with open source technologies and products
-   Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving
-   Professional English proficiency (B2/C1)
