**The Role**

A fantastic opportunity to join our busy, Master Data team. To help us continue to meet high industry demands and in order to maintain and exceed the highest levels of quality and customer service, we are keen to hear from suitably skilled and experienced professionals with a strong sense of collaborative working and flawless attention to detail.

Reporting to the Master Data Manager, the Master Data Controller will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical data within the ERP system (Prophet). Duties will include supporting the business to maintain data accuracy across all departments, identifying and correcting errors and establishing corrective measures & processes to avoid re-occurrence. As a “Super User” the Master Data Controller will also help in training end users, providing guidance on best practice whilst always focussing on continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Collaborate with cross functional teams to define & enforce data governance policies
-   Monitor data quality, identify anomalies and propose corrective actions
-   Set up BOM’s job templates & new Prophet jobs as per workflows
-   Set up of new products as requested by Commercial & Procurement
-   Maintain and update master data records
-   Ensure data integrity, by validation and cleansing data entries
-   System and process management, enhancement and improvement
-   Generate reports & analyse data trends
-   Provide insight to support decision making
-   Occupational Health and Safety compliance
-   Provide guidance to relevant stakeholders as required

## Requirements

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience**

-   Previous experience in an FMCG/manufacturing or similar fast paced environment
-   Familiarity of ERP systems (eg: SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics)
-   Exposure to data governance frameworks & best practices
-   Proficient in use of data management tools, (ERP, Excel etc)
-   Excellent attention to detail
-   Strong communications skills & the ability to communicate across diverse audiences
-   Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate data issues independently
-   Ability to work with incomplete information and validate data before taking action
-   Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
-   Competent MS Office user
