**Bassett Healthcare Network**_**,**_ in Central New York is seeking full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologists**.** 

-   **Salary Range: $600,000**
-   **Sign-on Bonus: up to $200,000**
-   **Location: Cooperstown, NY and Network**
-   **Residency/Fellowship Stipend: Up to $60,000**

### **Job Description & Responsibilities**

-   **Academic Excellence**: Join Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
-   **Collaborative Practice**: Work with a team of 13 physicians and 25 CRNAs in a supportive medical direction model with opportunities for solo cases.
-   **Diverse & High-Quality Care:** Provide full-spectrum anesthesia services to a diverse patient population with a strong focus on safety and quality (staffing ratios 1:2 /1:3).
-   **Life-Work Balance:** Manage a reasonable call schedule (3–4 per month) with post-call day off and nocturnist support to limit overnight shifts.
-   **Teaching & Growth**: Opportunities to teach SRNAs, medical students, and residents, with access to mentoring and leadership development.
-   **Flexible Locations:** Practice across Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, and Little Falls, with flexibility for anesthesiologists living in Albany, Binghamton, Utica, or Syracuse.
-   **Visa Sponsorship:** J-1 and H-1B available.

## Requirements

-   BC/BE in Anesthesiology
-   Completion of an accredited USA Anesthesiology residency, successful completion of which results in board eligibility
-   New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
-   BLS certification required
-   Strong teamwork, patient-centered approach, and ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary academic setting.

## Benefits

### **Compensation**

-   Base Salary: $600,000

-   _This compensation represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation rate at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards._

-   Sign-On Bonus: Up to $200,000
-   Residency Stipend: Up to $60,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation
