## Requirements

**Position Summary:**  
The Production Specialist will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring the timely and precise delivery of wide-format printing projects. This office-based role involves operating printing and finishing equipment, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with the team to meet client expectations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1.  **Operate Wide-Format Printing Equipment:**

-   Manage and run wide-format printers, laminators, and other finishing equipment with precision.
-   Adjust machine settings to optimize print quality based on project requirements.
-   Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.

3.  **Quality Assurance:**

-   Inspect all printed materials for color accuracy, resolution, and overall quality before and after production.
-   Address any defects or inconsistencies to ensure customer satisfaction.
-   Collaborate with the design team to resolve any issues related to artwork or file formats.

5.  **Material Preparation and Handling:**

-   Prepare substrates, such as vinyl, fabric, and rigid boards, for printing or finishing processes.
-   Accurately measure, cut, and trim materials using specialized tools and equipment.
-   Manage inventory of printing materials, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.

7.  **Finishing and Assembly:**

-   Perform laminating, mounting, and assembling tasks for finished products like banners, signs, and displays.
-   Package and prepare products for delivery, ensuring they are protected and labeled correctly.
-   Create custom solutions for unique client needs, such as trade show displays or custom signage.

9.  **Production Scheduling and Deadlines:**

-   Prioritize and manage multiple projects, coordinating with sales and customer service teams to meet deadlines.
-   Maintain an organized workflow to ensure timely completion of all production tasks.

11.  **Troubleshooting and Maintenance:**

-   Diagnose and resolve technical issues with equipment, minimizing downtime.
-   Work with equipment vendors and service providers for repairs and upgrades as needed.
-   Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules and completed repairs.

13.  **Collaboration and Communication:**

-   Act as a liaison between production, design, and sales teams to clarify project specifications and timelines.
-   Provide technical input on project feasibility, materials, and production methods.

-   Follow all safety protocols when handling equipment, chemicals, and materials.
