BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.    Position Summary    BB&E is currently seeking a **Mechanical Engineer** to support our **NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic program at Naval Station Norfolk, VA**, with a focus on **Public Works Department (PWD) Core Utilities**. Job Duties & Responsibilities    **Typical projects include:** Mechanical engineering support for federal facilities and infrastructure, including **HVAC, plumbing, and building mechanical systems**, as well as **central utility plants and base-wide distribution systems** such as **chilled water, steam, hot water, and natural gas**. Projects may also involve **energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives**, **instrumentation and control systems**, and the development of **piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)**.
