# Lumber Operator 4-12 Shift

## Description

**This position is responsible for producing finished product of various types of plastic lumber, parts, and assemblies from raw and recycled materials.**

Shift Schedule: 4:00pm - Midnight

**Duties & Responsibilities**

-   Fast, efficient set-ups
-   Operation of molded lumber lines and CNC
-   Handling molds, filling and emptying
-   Handling and making plastic lumber as assemblies
-   Monitoring the machine at all times assuring quality product is produced
-   Accurately measure, document, and chart the activity of the line
-   Read and follow drawings and production orders
-   Use power tools (wood working tools) to make and finish parts and/or assemblies
-   Responsible for safe operation of the line
-   Assist in maintenance of machine repair
-   Help maintain the cleanliness of the workstation to meet our Food Safety Policy
-   Assist in R&D
-   Other duties as assigned

## Requirements

-   Ability to read and write English
-   Able to follow strict product specifications
-   Computer experience necessary
-   Mechanical knowledge in working with equipment and carpentry tools helpful
-   Read drawings to make parts and assemblies
-   Ability to do accurate, detailed paperwork
-   Good math skills are necessary
-   Committed to producing a quality product and safety conscious
-   Work as a team member

**The physical requirements necessary to perform this job are as follows:**

-   Works in a production environment
-   Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms with upper and lower body mobility
-   Frequently stand, stoop, and bend
-   Frequently lift or move products up to 70 pounds
-   Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
-   Adaptable to various job duties
