## Description

Belmont Lavan Ltd is looking for an experienced **System Architect** to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of complex systems to meet business requirements and ensure scalability, security, and performance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and document system architecture designs that align with business and technical needs.
-   Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, product managers, and operations teams to ensure unified vision and execution.
-   Support core banking technology transformation initiatives, ensuring robust and compliant architectures.
-   Provide coaching and guidance on key architectural principles, non-functional requirements, and best practices.
-   Contribute to architectural documentation such as System Design Documents (SDD) and Test Readiness Review Documents (TRRD).
-   Assess and recommend improvements in IT infrastructure and platform capabilities.

## Requirements

**Requirements:**

-   Proven experience as a System Architect, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
-   Strong knowledge of core banking systems and related architecture.
-   Experience with integration architectures including message queuing technologies such as IBM MQ and Kafka.
-   Familiarity with IBM Mainframe environments and transition strategies to midrange platforms is a plus.
-   Knowledge of Temenos T24/Transact platform is advantageous.
-   Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
-   Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
-   Ability to define and manage non-functional requirements and support root cause analysis.
