**Belong Birkdale** **£14.45 per hour** **Full-time and Part-time Hours Available**

Belong is an innovative not-for-profit provider of person-centred care for older people, specialising in dementia care. With the opening of our brand-new village in **Birkdale**, there has never been a more exciting time to join Belong and be part of something special from the very beginning.

We are looking for caring, passionate, and committed individuals to join our team as **Team Senior Carers**. Working within one of our households, you'll support older people to live independently while delivering exceptional person-centred care in a warm and friendly environment.

### What You'll Be Doing

As a Team Senior Carer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customers and leading by example within the household team. Your responsibilities will include:

-   Delivering high-quality personal care
-   Administering and managing medication
-   Supporting customers living with dementia
-   Preparing and cooking meals within the household
-   Maintaining and updating care plans and daily records
-   Deputising for the Team Leader when required
-   Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all customers

### What We're Looking For

### Essential Requirements

-   Level 2 qualification (or above) in Health and Social Care
-   Experience supporting older people, particularly in a dementia care setting
-   Experience administering and recording medication accurately
-   Experience updating care plans and resident records
-   Eligible to work in the UK
-   Ability to commute to Birkdale and surrounding areas
-   Availability to work a variety of shifts, including:

-   8:00am to 3:00pm
-   3:00pm to 10:00pm
-   Occasional long-day shifts
-   Alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

### Desirable Experience

-   Leading shifts and deputising for a Team Leader
-   Completing staff supervisions and appraisals
-   Completing safeguarding documentation and managing safeguarding concerns
