## Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the facility, equipment, and mechanical systems in safe and reliable operating condition. This position takes a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting the continuous operation of the warehouse.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

-   Understand and follow guidelines, instructions, and procedures established by the Facility Manager/Supervisor, including all mandatory Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
-   Inspect facility systems, equipment, and components to identify necessary repairs, maintenance needs, and potential safety concerns.
-   Build, install, modify, and repair items such as office furniture, fixtures, partitions, racking, counters, doors, fences, and gates to meet facility and operational needs.
-   Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical infrastructure, including conveyor systems, GOH (Garment on Hanger) monorails, motors, and related equipment.
-   Maintain tools, equipment, and system components to ensure they remain available and in safe operating condition.
-   Respond promptly to maintenance issues and situations requiring immediate attention, particularly those involving safety or operational concerns.
-   Collect recycling and waste throughout the warehouse and properly dispose of materials in designated waste containers.
-   Follow established cleaning and disinfecting procedures to help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for facility personnel.
-   Assist other personnel, as needed, with activities that support facility and warehouse operations, including janitorial tasks, loading and unloading containers, and relocating goods.
-   Work independently with limited supervision while following standardized maintenance practices and procedures.

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
-   Two to five years of related maintenance, warehouse, or construction experience is preferred.
-   Work regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs; occasionally, with team support, lift and/or move objects greater than 30 lbs.
-   Significant carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending.
-   Ability to work overtime, nights, holidays, or weekends as needed.
-   Bilingual in English and Spanish is not required, but is preferred.

## Benefits

The expected hourly rate for this position is $17.92 - $18.92 per hour

 If the assignment is extended for more than 90 days, you would become eligible for partial benefits (for example, NJ sick time).
