## Description

We are is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to support our Finance team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a dynamic accounting environment while contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable operations.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

-   Execute additional tasks as needed
-   Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
-   Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
-   Provide support during internal and external audits
-   Fulfill full-cycle A/P
-   Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
-   Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
-   Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
-   Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

## Requirements

-   Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
-   AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
-   Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
-   Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
-   Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

## Benefits

The expected hourly rate for this position is $22 per hour - $26 per hour
